WATCH YOUR MOUTH

While freedom of speech is essential, we must also take responsibility for our words. There are consequences for what we say, even if we're not always aware of them.

Sometimes, the repercussions of our communication style or the words we choose to speak or write may not be immediately evident.

It could be minutes, months or even years later when someone decides to leave the relationship or unfollow, unsubscribe, or disconnect from us without a public announcement or big confrontation.

They might choose to silently “moonwalk themselves out of the room” or relationship, leaving us unaware of the impact our words had on them and without a way to correct our mistakes or heal the misunderstanding.

In this episode of the Karen Kenney Show, I want to explore the importance of being mindful of our communication and the impact or consequences our words can carry.

In today's world, where everyone seems to have a platform and access to one another, I believe it's worth our time to reflect on the way we choose to express ourselves and how our words have the power to build up or tear down, to be kind or cruel, to be intentional or clumsy.

Join me as we discuss the sometimes hidden effects of what comes out of our mouths and learn how we can create a more positive and impactful communication style both personally and professionally.
