Turn Words Into Works
When you’re doing personal development or spiritual growth work, it can be wicked easy to just gather lots of information and give the ol’ ego a feeling of satisfaction and superiority for checking another box!
I read that book. (check)
I listened to that podcast. (check)
I took that course. (check)
A lot of times people are doing all these things as a performative function, and not so much for the true depth of learning that actually comes from applying, practicing, embodying, living and being.
In order for “miracles” to happen” - for that shift in perception, from fear to Love, to take place - or what I would call “your story to your glory” - where we’re really able to change our minds and transform ourselves through Divine alchemy, we need to turn the words we read, hear and consume into actual works.
This requires taking action and not just talking about it. It requires us to take the things that we've heard and listened to, and actually spend some time getting a little intimate with them.
As my friend Maryanne Sea says, “Information doesn't heal, intimacy heals.”
Today on the Karen Kenney Show, we’re talking about getting intimate with the words we receive whether those words come to us through reading, a course, a podcast, or the teachings of a mentor, and turning them into works by practical application.
The living, being, embodying, practicing, and applying of them - if we want to see true, lasting, life altering change.
Are you ready to turn your words into works and walk the walk and not just talk the talk?
