Divine Standard Time

Between the nine different time zones we have here in the US, it can sometimes get kind of confusing to keep track of where/when you need to be when meeting online.

If you’ve ever been invited to virtual event, a webinar, a workshop or something online and you think it is happening at 1:00pm your time, only to find out that it actually starts at 4:00pm, because the other person is in California and things were set in their time zone, then you know what I’m talking about!

But did you know that there’s another 10th super secret-squirrel time zone that hardly ever gets talked about?

It’s what I like to call DST otherwise known as: “Divine Standard Time”.

So often we’re in this rush, where we think we know when, how, and why something should go down and who should be there, etc. - but the reality is, none of us have the Golden Key Map to the exact plan.

None of us have what I call an “omnipotent viewpoint” and so instead, we have to develop a little trust in the plan that is happening outside of ourselves.

This is why having a DSP (Daily Spiritual Practice), can be so helpful and powerful in this very uncertain human experience - because when things don’t go down how we think it should, or how we want it to, or when we wish it would, we can consider that something greater than and “divinely smarter” than us is on the job.

Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we’re talking about “Divine Standard Time” and how there can be some tough pills to swallow in this human experience. Some things that we just can't understand why they happen, and it’s not for us to try and explain it away or make it feel okay for everyone.

We all have to have our own experiences, feel our feelings, go through our grief and forgiveness processes in our own time and our own way. We can't rush that stuff at all.

Remember, life isn't always happening on our timeline.

This is DST at work.
